Position Overview:
Develop, implement and monitor local brand plans under national brand strategy through a collaborative process with Bottlers and Marketing Community, in order to provide sustainable growth of Core Brands, capture local marketing value opportunities and contribute to deliver Division targets.
Be local consumer expert; work within Marketing Community to guarantee local relevancy of national brand strategies
Guarantee full integration of brand/market development/key accounts plans to create synergy in the marketplace and maximize consumer response/results.
Propose Marketing resource allocation to guarantee both national and local brand key-initiatives are properly funded; share responsibility of Marketing DME management w/ Brand Managers/Directors.
Function Specific Activities:
1.Work together w/ brand marketing w/n the marketing community to: - 15%
a.Actively participate in the construction of brand strategy, focusing on providing regional inputs
b.Revise & provide feedback on the brand plans
c.Design field group’s brand portfolio strategy, thus defining investments prioritization by brand/region
2.Ensure right implemmentation of brand plans by – 25%
a.Negociating with bottlers
b.Supervising bottler implementation
c.Tracking & Monitoring to “correções de rota, para garantir atingimento do resultado”
d.Publishing results
3.Guarantee the full integration of brand plans, market development & key accounts plans– 20%
4.Support field group’s market development initiatives with brand marketing plans (media, pop material, promos…) – 10%
5.Continuously search/negociate/plan/supervise implementation of local marketing opportunities to leverage both brand equity and volume/revenue – 10%
6.Manages brands, consumer and competition data: - 15%
a.In-depth analysis of Brands KPIs at regional level
b.Track & monitor competition activities/movements
c.Provides and recommends specific market research to field group initiatives, supported by Divisional Market Research area
d.Recommends new information needs
e.Monitor regional information database (CCT, Ibope, Ad-Hoc Researches)
7.Manage Marketing Funds including both Brand & Local Marketing DME (local media, ooh, events, research, operational activation related to brand plans) – 5%
